ITLeaders Forum


I'm an entrepreneur, academic, researcher, crazy-busy business person. I have been working with senior Information technology leaders (Chief Information Officers or CIOs are who most of my clients are). I have been a professor for a while in my career, teaching in a major business school. I am currently running my own company. It's a CIO advisory services firm and I have a number of 'business units'. One of them is the IT Leaders Forum, the program I'm seeking a logo for.

My company is conservative in some ways and liberal in others. We are trying to help our clients explore new ideas for their business, but at the same time, we normally present ourselves in a more traditional manner, since our clients are very large, global companies. Our 'image' should appeal to both.

The target audience is IT Leaders...chief information officers, their direct reports, and many of the others in the executive ranks who would 'pay the invoice'.

I've recently launched a new program for Information Technology (IT) leaders called the IT Leaders Forum. I am in the process of creating a web page and stationary. I'm a terrible designer, but have tried to create a banner that I'm currently using. It's also my twitter photo, too. I really need some professional eye to create a logo that would work better. I'd plan to use it on all my official correspondence with my members.

You can see what I've done so you can get an idea of what appeals to me...I like the colors, the stars, the global context, etc. I don't focus on technology but I take technology leaders and help them understand business issues.

EAGLES VIEW CONSULTING

We are a small consulting firm offering outsourced Vice President of Sales and outsourced Business Development services. Our focus is on small-to-midsized companies in the mid-Atlantic region in need of direction and mentoring. We are part-time and on-site; we come in and roll up our sleeves to help turn around sales teams. In general, our mantra could be stated as "you started your business because you love what you do - focus on your passion and let us run your sales team." Our current corporate tag line is "Are you satisfied with your Sales Pipeline?" We are a young company that is poised to grow once we develop a strong corporate identity - this new logo will be the first step.

We focus on businesses of varying sizes across many markets. In general, our outsourced Vice President of Sales audience is comprised of the owners of $5M-50M businesses in the technology, manufacturing, professional services and equipment industries - in a primarily business-to-business sales environment. These people are generally overwhelmed by having a sales team of 2-10 reps to manage, and our specialty is coming in and taking that pressure and workload of their desks.

Our Business Development clients are comprised of businesses who either find they don't have the time to make cold-calls for new leads, our would simply like to focus on running appointments and chasing warm/hot leads instead of generating them in-house.

We need both of these groups to feel that we are a large group of professionals worthy of national attention.
